Hunsaker Heaven

We recently enjoyed a visit from my mom and my brother, Luke, as well as his two kids. It was more than wonderful to see them. They came at the perfect time and were a HUGE help to us. Plus, they took the streak of bad luck that'd been plaguing us since Mia's birth. (The day after we got home from the hospital, we discovered a broken pipe in the front yard requiring us to shut off the water so Denver could fix it, then Denver and Corbin were hit by a car, and then our 0ne-year-old fridge stopped working-never buy Frigidaire!) We had an amazing time so I decided to post a few pictures from the visit. My mom actually took the pictures, but since I highly doubt she'll posting them I don't feel at all guilty using them for my blog!
Do you think Corbin likes his new sister?

Kali wasn't sure about Corbin at first, but they eventually managed to get along.

We like to think of this one as the Hobbit children. I had just finished making the orange towel for Mia and we still had Corbin's out, so the two picked them up and wandered around the house in them for awhile. It was pretty cute.

Mmmmm, donuts.

Them are some good looking kids!
We took a day and went to the coast. I think the best part by far was watching Chase and Quinton as they tried to intimidate the waves and provoke them into knocking them over.
Quinton's a pretty tough guy.
Did you see that one?!?!
I believe I can fly...
Precious.
Corbin and his own bit of ocean.

Little Lukey with his little family.

My own little family. All of us. Wow. There's 5 now!

More Mia

I will not bore you with words...

Mia Lori Dalton

And here she is...

Born: 9/9/09 at 9:43 (I tried for 9:09, I promise-I really tried).
She weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz, 20.5 inches long with a head circumference of 14cm.
We love her.
