Easter

We had a great Easter this year. The kids all got new outfits and of course plenty of candy. Well, to be honest Chase is the only one that got candy. Corbin got yogurt covered raisins and pretzels and Mia got a few more bottles of baby food. Still, they were happy, healthy, and just plain adorable. Here are some of the pics.

Pinewood Derby

We did it. We made it through another Pinewood Derby. And, no, my son didn't win. And that doesn't change the fact that I am so proud of him I could just burst!

Chase worked really hard on his car this year. And he did it on his own. Chase designed, cut, sanded and painted his car. I was so impressed with him for all of his work. I also admire him because he was brave and creative and made a completely unconventional car, not caring what anyone else would think. My sweet son is comfortable in his own skin and I don't know of many that can honestly say that. He's strong yet sweet and I'm afraid sometimes that he thinks that I don't notice all of that, but I do. I am humbled by the man that he's turning into and I'm so grateful for the chance to know him and love him and be taught by him. So even if he didn't take first in the Pinewood Derby I still think that he was the greatest racer there. Love you Chase.

Swimming!

I love swimming. It seems all of my children do too. We had a blast last night at the local swimming pool, although there is one little thing that I would change. Maybe two. First, I'd make sure that I didn't feed Corbin beans and rice the day before. Second, I'd be doubly sure that he was wearing a swim diaper that had plenty of room in it...yeah, I'll spare you the details. Enjoy the pics!
