The Coast

Around this time of year I start to get a little stir-crazy. The walls in the house shrink while the to-do piles rapidly breed until I am drowning! When this happens I shut down until I can get away for a bit. Last year we went to the coast for a night and it worked so well that I decided we'd do it again this year. It's just a little mini vay-cay but it's one of those things that preserves the lives of my children and probably my marriage. I like to stay at a hotel right on the beach because not only do I get an ocean view with a full kitchen but it also has a great pool! I think that I speak for the whole family when I say that it was a truly perfect, fantastic trip. And of course I took pictures so that our families in Utah will understand a little of why it's tolerable to live so far away...

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. The kids all got new outfits and of course plenty of candy. Well, to be honest Chase is the only one that got candy. Corbin got yogurt covered raisins and pretzels and Mia got a few more bottles of baby food. Still, they were happy, healthy, and just plain adorable. Here are some of the pics.
