Tired

So, if you noticed, I haven't posted for a bit. We just got so busy having all that fun in Utah that I never got to it, and then we had visitors right after I got home. They left today and although I miss them already, I am enjoying a bit of quiet time-the kids were so tired they conked out hours ago. I thought I'd add a few of the pictures we took while they were here.

 

 

 

We had a great visit. The boys got to go to their first Duck game and the girls got matching outfits. What a great visit, thanks Daltons!

 

Hailee's Birthday & Dinner with Grandpa Nelson

Happy Birthday Hailee! We went to the park to celebrate her 11th birthday and it was a lot of fun. After the park, we headed back to Gama & Chip's house for a family dinner and I got to see Grandpa Nelson-oh how I love that man.

Mia Disasters & Girls Night Out

My poor Mia. She had a hard day. She tries so hard to be good and things still go awry. All she wanted to do was eat a delicious crepe cooked by her sweet Aunt Tiffany, and she knocks a plate off the counter and cries and cries when it shatters. Later, all she was trying to do was paint her toenails. I just wish she'd asked me to help her and then maybe it wouldn't have gotten all over the carpet. So, when it was time to take the kids' to Grandma Dalton's house, I was ready. Very. And I had an amazing night out with some of my favorite people in the world. I LOVE my girls. Before we left for the evening, I had Beth snap a couple of pictures for me so Daddy Rabbit could miss me even more...

Not sure if you can tell that no one else in the last picture got the memo about making a face...We had a great time and I feel truly blessed to have such amazing women in my life. Plus, Beth's really funny. She made us all eat with chopsticks as part of her birthday wishes. Next time, I won't order fried rice and I'll practice catching food in my mouth so I don't sit through dinner with shrimp stuck to my cheek. Or we just won't go to Tepanyaki Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar. Happy Birthday in advance Beth.
