Day 5

Today was wonderfully exhausting. We got to spend some time with my dear friend Brooke, and her sweet children. Chase got to spend the night before with his best friend Anthony and then we had some fun at the Splash park. Mia was pretty tired from all the fun the days before and didn't really want to play in the water. In fact, she fell asleep in the car on the way from the park to The Dalton's. She wasn't the only one...

After we picked up some clothes, we headed over for the backyard-barbecue-sleepover. Tiffany joined us for a little bit so that Tasha could see the horses. Enjoy the pictures!

Day 4-Air Space Museum

It seems that I am cursed. Every time we go to this museum, something happens with my camera. Last time, I forgot it. This time, the battery died before we even made it inside. Fortunately, I was able to get a picture of Corbin with his favorite orange airplane before it died, and Tiffany loaned me hers to get a couple of pictures inside. I loved seeing the kids with their cousins.

After the museum we headed off to Arctic Circle for some free ice cream cones. If I thought it was fun watching the kids in the sweltering heat of the un-airconditioned Air Space Museum, you should have seen me in the air-conditioned play place. It certainly felt "Arctic". Har, har. In fact, it was so nice that I willingly took Jayston with me and Corbin to the bathroom. And when Sam wanted to come along I grabbed him too. I was still smiling happily when Beckett joined us. I was even laughing when we emerged-four little boys, pants askew, wet in places they shouldn't be, but with clean hands. Little boys are so much fun! By the time we got back to Gama's and had some leftover spaghetti and meatballs, I was ready for bed. Still am. Good night!

Day 3-FHE

It's only been 3 days and I MISS Daddy Rabbit-who knew that would happen this quickly? Thank goodness we're having so much fun here or it would be unbearable...

We were planning on spending the day with Brooke, but her sick children put an end to that so we went to Beth's house instead. I love being with her and her beautiful kiddos. My kids love it too.

Beckett's silly face. And it's blueberry, not purple snot.

If you need a fly killed, hire the Wolfman.

50 cents a fly. $20 later...I don't think Beth realized that she had that many flies in the house.

Elephants rule.

Aunt Tiffy came to spend the week with us. I thought she should let the baby try on some clothes I brought her.

Gathering for the Mentos Geyser.

Yeah, Chase eats the Mentos after they've been dropped in the coke. Yuck.

Gama giving the FHE lesson on the Tree of Life and it's pure, white fruit.

Mia really loves to sing, "I am a Child of God".

Let's race.

And race....

...and race...

Will they ever stop?

Yup. No more racing for this one.

Phew. After all that racing, I'm plumb tuckered out. Fortunately the kids are too and they're already in bed. Think I'll join them. Love you Daddy Rabbit. Good night.
